Bhandardhara - the place of waterfalls in Maharashtra located near Nashik
The location is very much beautiful as we went in month of January, still it was pleasant.
From Mumbai take the Nashik Highway and after the TOLL Naka, post GHOTI, take Right turn and then drive for more 20-25kms inside the jungle single road very narrow at some places to the end till you reach MTDC Bhandara....I will strongly advise and recommend MTDC as this is most ideal located resort and the view of the DAM is breathtaking....
I could do a MINIKalsubai treck which is 5kms uphill where u reach a temple and then we returned. Also there are guide available in MTDC which charges 300-500 for 1day tour (who will accompany with you throughout the journey - advisable as we are not sure of the roads)
There is also the famous RANDHA Water Fall which had water even in January...
Its a good place to spend your time and has ample of place...ideal time after rainy seasion.
Also there is a age old temple (not recommended) it is siad that its build during the Ramayana days....
OVerall a good place to stay relax and move around - plenty of places to visit (2days sufficient) and MTDC good place for staying and FOOD too...

There are also others things to do at Bhandara - there is Kalsubai - the HIGHEST Mountain peak in Maharahtra - people go on trek too...it takes 5hrs for the treck
